10/3

I really like the photo because the the bright colors against the dark background. I like the way the photographer zoomed in on the flowers to make it a bit harder to figure out what you are looking at.  I also love the little details, the folds of the flower petals, the glitter and water drops.
  • Asymmetrical Balance - the petals in the photo
  • Texture - Glitter on the petals
First off, I really don't like the big clock.  Not sure why it is there, but it really needs to go.   The reason I picked this photo is because of what is behind the photo.  I love the brightness and the coloring.  I also really like how there is detail and blur all wrapped within one another, and the way the light is coming through the tree and hitting the clock.
  • Alternation Rhythm - blur to detail to blur
I like the different areas found within the photo, from the grass at the bottom, tops of the trees and the darkness and light scattered within.  I really like the little details that can be seen: the rays of light coming in through the trees, the little flowers hidden in the grass. I also like how at first glance, the photo seems very dark and gloomy, but after further viewing, the picture is very bright and full of life.
  • Linear or Repetition Rhythm - the trees in the background
  • Asymmetrical Balance - trees on both sides
I love the way that the blue wings stand out from the background and are the first things seen, the detail on the wings and on the leaves, and the overall feel of the photo.  I also like the way that the photographer cropped the photo to show that there is more beyond the butterfly.
  • Symmetrical Balance - butterfly's wings
  • Emphasis - Bright wings compared to dark background
I really like the color contrast within the cloud, how the photo could almost not be real for how random and different each area of the cloud is. I also like the calm feeling that is given after looking at the photo.
  • Movement
  • Texture

I love the detail in this pencil drawing. From the reflection to the wrinkles, the photo is perfect in the non-perfect way.  Eyes are really interesting to me in general and this one just takes it over the top. You can just sit and imagine what hidden behind the eye.
  • Shape and Space - circle to represent calmness

The beach is an amazing place and this photo holds the elements.   I love the little details, such as the light reflecting off the water and the bubbles in the water.  I love how rich and bright the colors are in the photo, giving at feeling that you are actually there.
  • Movement
  • Repetition Rhythm - many fish, many light rays, and many clouds in the sky
I love the overall lighting and feel of this photo.  I like the way that the photo doesn't have very much color,  the way that the background is contrasted against itself, and how the dog blends in with the background but all stands out.
  • Linear Rhythm - Lines of the planks
So I play Call of Duty: Black Ops.  I picked this photo because while I am playing, I cannot get over how much detail is in the game.  From individual leaves on the trees to dust in the corner, the game's graphics still amaze me, and this photo shows off the details.
  • Movement - the blur in the background representing rainfall

I really like the color and crop of this photo, giving attention to the right side instead of the center like most photos.  I love the little detail in the middle of the flower, and how the black inside of the flower makes it seem like the petals never end.  I also just like overall feel of the photo.  It's calm but crazy all at the same time.
  • Texture
  • Color - Red to represent passion, white to represent peace
